Born in an unprepossessing British town called Luton famous for its airport and little else, Nick Goodey’s life has been on an upward trajectory ever since. A copy-based Creative director, he has worked on three continents on just about every product known to man and advertising executive. Here's just a sample of his work. Enjoy

A glimpse of the future

This 30 second spot for the Chevy Volt was also designed to be an interactive ad on XBox that utilizes Microsoft’s new controller-free gaming experience Kinect. Users watch the ad on XBox live and at any point in the commercial can interact with the car. They can grab it, put it in a virtual garage and even change the color of the vehicle. When they’ve had their fun they can then place it back in the commercial and watch the spot play out.

Meet the Griswolds again

One of the more interesting project I worked on in the last few months was for HomeAway, a vacation rental site. We took the angle of knocking bad hotels and used the Griswolds to help us in our efforts

Featured is a Superbowl spot that acts as a trailer to advertise the site and its content, which includes longer form video featuring the Griswolds.

The campaign has been an unqualified success with thousands upon thousands of new visitors coming to the site.

F-STOP ROCK

Since moving to Seattle I’ve taken up shooting bands and uploading the results to my blog, F-Stop Rock. It guarantees that whatever happens at work, I’m going to get something I like creatively out the door.
